    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course may be required for the major, but it isn't a bad class. This class works on a system of deadlines and quizzes taken in lab classes, the quizzes are not hard, they are typically words from the AP Style book and material from the lecture.

    Course highlights:

The best part about this class was learning all of the skills you'll need in the field as well as getting some hands-on experience with software that professionals in the field of Mass Communications use on a daily basis. There was some basic history and background included in the lecture portion of the course, all on slideshows that were uploaded to the course webpage, so it was easy to access come midterms and finals. The guest speakers were interesting to hear from, and it was very refreshing to hear from people in the field and get to ask them questions directly. This was a fun class to be in if you show up for attendance and follow the deadlines.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure to follow the deadlines and guidelines for each assignment, ask your lab instructor to look over the assignment if you have any questions about what you're supposed to do. Use the AP Style book like a bible, never let it leave your side, it will save you from missing points on assignments for stupid reasons.
