    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Personally, Stats is one of the hardest classes I have ever taken. Math has never been one of my strong suites so this course was already going to be difficult for me. But since it isn't your typical math class, its concepts are easier to understand.

    Course highlights:

The highlights for this course were getting good grades on assignments because it shows that you really learned the material well.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Study. Study. Study. Use the practice tests and tutoring if you struggle at all. All the chapters build on top of one another so you gotta stay on the ball.

    | Would recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

When faced with choosing my course schedule for the fall semester, and finding that I would need to take statistics, I was extremely worried at first. I had never liked probability and this was the exact foundation used for this course. Although, to my surprise, I have performed very well and learned an extensive amount during this semester. The professor is very intelligent and does not always explain everything in depth, but he does provide you with the resources necessary to do well in this course.

    Course highlights:

A highlight for me was probably the end of semester project. I had the chance to implement the program we had learned about throughout the semester and was able to conduct a very thorough presentation.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Attend class! Never think for a second that because attendance is extra credit you shouldn't attend. You will miss so much in not going to one class and will have trouble catching up. So get out of bed and go!

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This class was pretty easy as long as you keep track of what's going on.

    Course highlights:

The best part was learning probability. It was by far the easiest in my opinion and a simple concept.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

If it applies to your major then don't stress, it's a good class to take.
