Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

At first I was hesitant about taking this course because I am not a big fan of Social Studies. However, throughout most of the course I had my own opinions on subjects while others thought differently. Being able to debate and express how I felt made the class a lot more fun, while in the process showing me that I understood the information being taught.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course was all of our debates. Many people came from different backgrounds. As a result, I learned that it's hard to create a system that protects the differences between people.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

My advice to students that want to take this course is to pay attention during class. A lot of it may seem like things you have learned over and over again throughout years in school but this class is for you to formulate your own opinions on the political system. Reading the course book will also help you. If you read the chapter before class you are able to ask about a topic you didn't fully understand, or even ask to know more about a topic you became interested in while reading.
