    | Would highly recommend.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

This is a great class as Ms. Mukavetz is an energetic and cheerful personality and teaches with effervescence. Not only does she explain the topics in great detail, she adores questions. For her, they're a sign of paying attention. She also likes to use a lot of visual diagrams and songs to illustrate her points.

    Course highlights:

This course is a great prerequisite for the rest of the math classes available at the high school. In all honesty, the best part of the course is when she teaches you "rainbow factoring". For people outside of State College, this is known as factoring by grouping but she does a great job of setting you up for the rest of your math classes in the future.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

You really need to study. She may say homework is occasionally optional but do it anyways because you'll learn to identify methods and ways to factor automatically. Also, the course starts out very simple but quickly progresses in the middle of the year especially.
