    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

APUSH is a challenging class, but Mr. Taylor is a great teacher. As long as a student takes notes, pays attention, and studies they will be successful. Leaning about the history of our country is enlightening and interesting.

    Course highlights:

We learned about the United States from 1490 to modern day. We covered all of the presidents and many of the policies of the United States. While we learned a lot, after taking this course it is clear that there are many avenues for deeper learning about United States history.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

It is very important to take notes and listen to the lectures. The reasons for events are much more important than specific names and dates, although those are helpful also. You should be able to tell a story with the events of history.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would definitely recommend this course for students who are looking to enhance their GPA all while maintaining a steady work load.

    Course highlights:

By taking this course, I learned so much of what i can apply to everyday life. For example, plays are off ten based on historical events, such as "The Triangle Factory Fire Project". Before APUSH, I knew the story. But after APUSH, I connected it to life and realized how real everything was!

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Don't underestimate the workload! It will be pretty steady, but make sure to study when you can. Make flashcards of terms, and don't be afraid to highlight in your notes. It will help big time!
