Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I have always had a passion for the human brain and it's workings, and this class provided me with so much more fascinating information that it encouraged me to pursue a career in psychology. Not only did we learn interesting things about the brain, but we also got to perform fun experiments on fellow classmates to see it in action.

    Course highlights:

I loved learning about the different neurotransmitters in the brain and how each one had a different function specific to that chemical. It was so interesting to learn how the brain worked!

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I highly recommend purchasing the AP Psychology Crash Course book to aid in studying. It has information on the course throughout the year condensed into a reasonably sized book and came in handy when studying, especially around AP testing time.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I highly recommend this class if you have any interest in the way the human body categorizes many mental processes.

    Course highlights:

Getting to examine myself and my own mental state while I learned was one of my favorite parts of this course. I learned an immense amount about cognition, they way our mind processes everyday concepts like a hunger and needing sleep as well as much more.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Always read your assigned chapters, they aid you immensely on quizzes and assignments. Plus, if you are planning on taking the AP tests, it is much easier to study if you're fully aware of the book's layout.
