    This class was tough.

These skills follow and help you throughout your college and professional career. Therefore, I would highly recommend taking this course as it truly provides its students with skills that can be used throughout a person’s life.

    Course highlights:

Highlights of this course would be being able to see your own improvement through your essays and short answer respones. Every assignment completed in this class is kept and returned so that the student can learn from their own mistakes, and also see how much they have improved throughout the year.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Students considering this course should definitely take it, but must be willing to put the necessary time and effort in. This class contains heavy reading and writing, but in the end it is worth the time and effort because you improve as both a reader and writer.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Through various readings, my teacher, Ms. Sifuentes has helped us students develop analytical thought, has made us independent readers and learners, and inspired our writing skills to multiply since years before. She made me a better writer and has helped me see the metaphorical figures, and subtle context in literature I never could have found without her help.

    Course highlights:

The reading was constant and the work load was sometimes unbearable, but is students somehow always managed to make the best of them. Grendel, King Lear, The Awakening, A dolls house, hamlet- just a few readings we covered both in and out of class.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Even if you aren't a strong writer yet, you will get there, however, if you are also a strong reader, it will take you the extra mile in excelling in this class. Don't wait for the last minute to do anything in this class, do it ASAP, and make it as if it is your best work always.
