Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I took this course at Mount Juliet High School with Mrs. Wallace, which was not an option to choose. I actually enrolled in Pre-AP Calculus AB in the fall, followed by AP Calculus AB in the spring.

    Course highlights:

I throughly learned Calculus 1! By the end of the course, I could take the derivative of any function. Likewise, I could integrate any function thrown my way.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Do not expect the AP credit if you do not put in extra work on your own time. Begin internalizing information from the start of the course, and build on it throughout.

    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

If you are considering taking this just because you do not want to take it in college, this course is not for you. I'd recommend taking this only if you love math and are great at it. It is a very difficult course even if you are good at math.

    Course highlights:

I learned that it is okay to ask for help from a teacher.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

You need to study your butt off. Even if the homework seems decently easy, know that the test is harder. Also, when you take a test, don't spend too much time on one question because you'll run out of time.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Discrete math is a great overview of every math course you have taken as a quick reminder before graduating your senior.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to deal with real life problems that are ahead of me, such as college.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you do your work and you will end up with a good grade.
