Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course and teacher does a great job in preparing you for the AP test. Mr. Thaxton also keeps the class interesting and fun! This class is a lot of reading, but not much writing.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to analyze novels and interpret them. I also realized the true meaning behind many classic books that have been morphed by Hollywood and the media.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Read every assignment! You will most likely have a quiz over the reading.

    Course Overview:

Mr. Thaxton does a great job when teaching this class. He ensures each student understands every novel thoroughly, ensuring success on the AP test.

    Course highlights:

I learned the analysis of several classic novels and how to enterpret each novel. I also learned ton of vocabulary root words, which helps in writing.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

If you want to learn a lot about literature, I suggest taking this course. It's also a good way to earn college credit through the AP test! If you prefer writing, I would not recommend this class.
