    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This class was life-changing! I loved studying all the different classics from around the world. It’s a good cultural experience and I learned so much from Ms. Shelley that prepared me for college. I would highly recommend this class to someone that sincerely wants to learn, even if they don’t want to be an English major or a writer.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course for me were the class discussions about what we thought of the different novels. It was cool to see everyone’s different perspectives: what they liked and didn’t like about the books. I learned a lot about history, grammar, and writing styles.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

My advice for this class is to actually read all the books she assigns. Don’t just skim them or think you can spark notes them because she you will not do well in the class. Also don’t wait until the last minute. She has a couple of huge assignments and it’s best to do a little at a time
