    | Would recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I definitely would recommend this course to anyone interested in hands on chemistry. Ms. Gines was a great teacher and always had plenty of hands on experiments that helped me learn more easily. The advice I would give is that you must do your homework or you will fall behind in the class, you also need to be pretty good at math to be able understand some concepts.

    Course highlights:

I learned a tons of stuff. I had never taken a chemistry course before, so this class taught me a lot about the periodical table, chemical changes, how to find out how old an object is by its half-life etc.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

I advise all those who take this course to make sure to take notes and study them. Also be sure to do the homework because at the beginning of class their is almost always a quiz.

    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend it because it covers a wide range of science and math fundamentals and is very valuable to our understanding of the world and how it works.

    Course highlights:

I gained real-world knowledge that helps me understanding of the world and also strengthened my knowledge of math and science that I was learning in other classes. This class improved my understanding of classes I was already taking and improved my grades.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

I would recommend to do the readings that are assigned, as they are pivotal to understanding the lessons and concepts that are taught next. Whenever a reading was missed, it was as though I had been absent for weeks.

    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Physics itself wasn't even bad, it was the teacher who I had a hard time with. Mrs. Seamons was new to teaching, and she didn't exactly know good ways to get us to understand the concepts. You had to take lots of notes in that class to understand and keep up.

    Course highlights:

I learned from this course that there is quite a bit of math in physics. If you're okay in math, you're going to do okay in physics. I also learned a lot about the laws of motion and how things move. Something fun in this class is that you get to learn a lot about scientists.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

My advice is to listen to the teacher and don't pretend like you're "too cool" for learning this stuff, because you're not. Take lots of notes - color-coding may be helpful too.
