Course Overview:
Mr. Gilchrist is an incredible teacher that is able to make learning fun. He gets to know each of his students on a more personal level, which brings a feeling of ease into the classroom.
Course highlights:
Before this course, I didn't even know a derivative was a thing, let alone how to find it. Thanks to Mr. Gilchrist, I can solve more complex problems every day.

Advice for students:
Don't be afraid of pushing yourself out of your comfort zone. You can do more than you think you can. All it takes is diligence and a desire to do well.
This class was tough.
Course Overview:
This course is very challenging, but it's fun to be able to know how to do calculus. By taking this course, you also can take an AP test which allows you to receive college credit. Also, Mr. Wytiaz is a very good teacher and makes math understandable.
Course highlights:
I've learned about limits, differentiation, related rates, and integrands. I learn to apply different rules of differentiation to exponentials, trig functions, and regular functions.

Advice for students:
Make sure to have a study group and take a study hall class where questions can be answered so homework isn't difficult to get done.

Mr. Gilchrist is a fun teacher. He's good at connecting with his students and engaging them in the lesson. I've learned really well through the way he presents his lessons and the notes and resources he gives us to help our study process.
Course highlights:
So far, I've really enjoyed learning the product rule with derivatives. I also really enjoy Mr. Gilchrist's jokes and his teachign style
