Not too easy. Not too difficult.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It was an interactive class that I got to learn to love biology! The teacher knew what he was talking about and had funny stories relating to a lot of the subjects we were studying.

    Course highlights:

My favorite part of this course was learning about cells. Cells have always sparked my interest because it's always been amazing to me to see so much intricacy in such small factories.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Study study study! In this class you're graded on the notes you take at home while reading the chapters assigned and on the tests you take in class. Getting together with a group of students who know what they're doing saved my grade.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I took AP Biology in high school so I could try and pass the AP test and skip general biology in college. I ended up only getting a 2 on the AP test, but I am still glad I took this class. I didn't like biology before this class but after taking it my eyes were opened and I became more interested in topics like the human body and photosynthesis.

    Course highlights:

The highlight of this course for me was seeing myself step out of my comfort zone and push myself. Biology isn't my favorite subject, so I had to work really hard to focus and learn. I gained a massive amount of information from this course.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

In order to succeed in this class you must stay on top of your chapter outlines. And don't just copy what the book says, really read. If you don't understand something ASK QUESTIONS!! Questions are a huge thing that can make or break you, because if you act like you understand something and then the teacher moves on, the teacher probably won't explain it in detail again.
