    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Mrs. Vander Wilt is very personal with each of her students. No matter how hard Calculus is, it is very worth it, because the teacher helps create a safe environment.

    Course highlights:

I learned a ton! I got to learn all of the AB material which includes: derivatives, integrals, volumes of solids, optimization, related rates, and more. The BC material is very intense, and includes: polar graphs, series and sequences, the Taylor and Maclaurin Polynomials, and more! It can get difficult, but it is very cool!

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure to always study every single day. No matter if you feel like you can do it tomorrow, do it today. Make sure to always stay caught up, ask questions, and learn to love the material with a great attitude!

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

The teacher is very easy to work with. She is kind and cares about each of her students on an individual basis. She shows true compassion and is very loving. She also teaches calculus, a very hard subject, extremely well.

    Course highlights:

I learned new calculus terms, such as derivatives, integrals, power series, and much more! Learning about this in the real world was very intriguing!

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure to do your homework every single night. Make sure to review every single unit when you have the chance. Spend a lot of time understanding the material conceptually because it is very difficult. Be motivated and do your best. You all can do it as long as you put in the effort!
