Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course is for people who want to really challenge themselves to become better at writing and who are willing to put in the work. compared to other honors teachers, Swenson gives a lot more work, we can sometimes be a class book, a literature circle book and an individual book all at once. But when with the right group of classmates, this class can be so much fun.

    Course highlights:

We learned about Shakespearean tragedies and how all the events effect the outcome of the main character and who or what caused their downfall. we learn how to improve our essay writing skills and we also learn to work in groups and push each other to succeed.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Be on task in class, pay attention and takes thorough notes, they will help you so much when the time comes. But overall just have fun and enjoy every bit of learning you do in this class

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This class was so interactive and fun, I would highly recommend for a great language arts teacher and class!

    Course highlights:

I got to learn a lot about my culture and background since we did some heritage studies in the beginning and then that slowly evolved into our culture as a whole. We presented sometimes and watched movies too!

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Stay on top of the workload! The teacher means business about due dates so you better listen up! And be present during discussions since a lot of the tests are based off the discussions.
