    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend it if you were very into English courses and are willing to put in hours of homework each night. I would not recommend it if you don't want a lot of outside work.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to write analysis much better than before as well as how to interpret Shakespeare much better than before I took the class.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Do your homework on time! Don't procrastinate!

    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

The teacher belittles you making it a negative learning environment. She knows the subject she's teaching very well, but she expects you to understand things without a clear explanation and gets frustrated when you don't.

    Course highlights:

Although the work is tough, it's thought provoking and educating. The course work load is heavy, but it all teaches you exactly what you need to know if you're willing to put in the work.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Keep up on your homework and attend the class! The classwork each day helps you with the nightly homework. Since there is more homework each class, it's easy to fall behind. Don't let yourself!
