Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

AP Art History is both beautiful and informative. Not only did I learn the history of the world and its art, but I discovered the culture that surrounds it as well.

    Course highlights:

Although I originally thought my favorite unit would be the Renaissance, I discovered that I LOVE modern art (especially Rothko).

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

I would recommend studying your notes continuously. Do NOT wait until that last minute to review the past units before the test!

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course is the lasting impact it has on you when you leave the classroom. It opens your eyes to different cultures and teaches you about the unique experiences that brings artists to fame.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

What you need to succeed for this class is an open mind. You need to get out of your 21 century mind and open your mind to new ideas and enjoy yourself as you get to experience the history of the world through their eyes.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

This class was wonderful. Ms. Miller is a highly knowledgeable, well-trained educator, who loves to give students the gift of historical facts and stories by the means of artwork from the time period.

    Course highlights:

I learned about the history and art from the prehistoric times all the way up until the year 2011 C.E. We talked about the motivations of the artists for their pieces, historical contexts, mediums used and why, and the audience response to the work.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

This class is very doable, and the knowledge you gain is applicable to many other aspects of history as well as other subjects. The crucial thing is that you take time at the end of the course to review all of the works. The AP test will ask specific questions about the pieces taught, and not knowing the details is a terrible detriment to one's score.
