    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this class for other students because it has helped improve my writing and creativity. I very much disliked writing essays every other week, but over time I realized how much I improved my writing and how easy things came to my mind. I was able to efficiently write two page essays in less than thirty minutes and started to enjoy the task of writing. The course primarily focused on the application of grammar rules and the development of creative thought needed to write well-developed essay. I would have liked to know more about semi-colon and comma rules before taking this course. However, with the help of my teacher I have sufficiently mastered the use of grammar in my writing.

    Course highlights:

With help of this course, I have been able to efficiently write papers in all my other courses. I learned to develop ideas through the means of brainstorming and forming an outline. In doing so, my ideas are already written down and I only have to expand slightly on each point made. The compare and contrast was one of the most difficult tasks in this class since I had to research two diverse topics and find a connection and difference between the two. However, I learned that by not procrastinating and efficiently using my time to research each topic precisely the essay was easily completed.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

In order to succeed in this class, students must be willing to dedicate their time to homework and research, and most importantly they should not procrastinate. I would advise students to seek advice from their teacher if needed since every teacher prefers a different writing format and style.
