Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course brought inside thaw American can be seen as the "bad guy" in history, instead of being pegged as the hero seen in middle school history. In this class a perspective was brought in that America is not this perfect country that claims itself to be, where it has in some moments in history been the causation for chaos.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course was learning about the civil rights movement. This was interesting in that it didn't happen to long ago, and more interesting key figures were discusses besides Rosa Parks and Martin Luther King Jr, that made the topic intriguing.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Time management is the key. Because this class was only 1 semester long, a lot of information had to be covered in a short amount of time in order to take the AP test. Because of that, a lot of reading and note-taking was done for homework, that proved to be time-consuming.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because it is important in life to learn from the past, history lets us as a society unite in order not to repeat histories mistakes.

    Course highlights:

In this course I gained different perspectives on events previously learned. Not only was I able to learn about the American world view but also the world view of other countries especially during times of imperialism and clashing ideologies.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

I recommend spending the time reading not just from your textbooks but also researching and finding sources of your own to really develope a picture of the events you're learning in class, I reccomend doing everything you can to understand history such as watching documentaries or reading articles to really stay in touch with the material.
