Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This was a dual enrollment class in my high school that I took my senior year. This class helped me on how to format essays for when I get to college, how to outline my essay's, how to edit, how to use the proper MLA format and so much more. I also got 6 college credits out of this class.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course is that we got to choose what we wanted to write about. Some teacher do not let you choose your topic. But our teacher treated us like adults and let us choose.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

My advice is to listen in this class. If you do not listen in this class then you won't get anything out of it. Also, do not goof off on your papers. You can not do these papers last minute, because you have to make time to write these papers.

Mrs. Gates allows emery student to grow as a writer by assigning several papers through the year. She always allows time for questions by coming in before school and staying late after school for students to ask questions.

    Hours per week:

    Advice for students:

If a student is considering taking College Composition with Mrs. Gates, do it. Every student that comes out of her class is a far better writer after her class than they were before.
