This class was tough.
I would highly recommend this course because Mrs. Flint really motivates you to learn and dig deep and find out what an author was truly trying to get across. After this course, I personally have just found more value in literature as a whole and rather than just composing a 500 word or so report for some credit, you do assignments that help you truly understand the underlying themes of a novel, poem, etc.
In this course, I learned that I could learn anything from just about any piece of literature. You can get a book in that class and then hate it after you read it through once alone, but when you get the assignments for the novel and go through it with other people, I can guarantee you that you will get something out of it.

Advice for students:
If you do do this class, DO THE WORK. It's so worth it. Be prepared and give intelligent feedback. Contribute to the class and be willing to learn from other people.
