Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This was an amazing class to learn in. It was a great introduction to college level writing with an emphasis on making your writing better. It is, however, a heavy writing class with two ten page paper due in the semester. Thankfully, the papers were worked in chunks throughout each term, so it did not feel like too much writing at one time. Our class had amazing discussions that led to greater understanding and deeper thinking. Overall, English 1010 was a great class to take to get ahead on college while still in high school.

    Course highlights:

I learned that college writing is not nearly as scary as everyone thinks it will be. My professor was willing to help in any way; you just needed to ask. I also learned how colleges expect work cited and formated in both MLA and APA formats.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Be prepared for writing and for deadlines. This is not a class that you should procrastinate in because you will easily fall behind. Do not be afraid to ask questions and as for help in your writing. It is a wonderful class to learn and practice writing college level papers. If you do the work along the way, it does not feel like writing a ten page paper.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend English 1010 with Mrs. Waite because I have seen nothing but improvement in my writing since enrolling in her class.

    Course highlights:

I learned to follow templates and create structure in my writing. Now that I have this structure I can be a more creative writer.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

I would suggest never falling behind, always being a step ahead of the teacher allows you time if there is an emergency to catch up to course speed.
