Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this class because you learn so much content and yet it is not difficult to understand. The teacher puts an emphasis on why the event is important rather than just expect you to memorize facts.

    Course highlights:

I learned so much from this course! It was much different than I expected being a college class. This class covers all of American history from the very beginning with Christopher Columbus to today.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Take this class! You will get both college and high school credit and it is fairly easy.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Mr. Peterson is one of the best teachers I have ever had.

    Course highlights:

Mr Peterson was super excited about everything and very passionate about history. I learned a lot about American History, but more importantly I learned how I learn best because there was a lot of independent study in that class.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Know how you study best. If you cannot retain information well, this class is not for you.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course was extremely interesting and I loved the teacher. I would recommend this class to everyone who loves learning.

    Course highlights:

I gained such an appreciation for the history of America and I never realized how much our nation had to go through to get to where it is today. There were low points in the past, but learning how we overcame them really made my love for this country grow beyond what I ever thought I could feel. I learned that America, though still relatively new, has gone through a lot of heartache and pain, but we have become successful through it all, and that is what is really important.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Study hard, read the textbook, and don't procrastinate. It is lecture based and there are a lot of notes to be taken, so be prepared with note taking skills and an open mind for discussions.
