    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Mr. Burningham does a wonderful job of helping even those who struggle with mathematical concepts - me - and cares that each and every one of his students succeeds in and out of class.

    Course highlights:

We received lots of time to correct mistakes that we made on assignments. The assignments weren't a huge part of our grade either, so the mistakes we made were meant to teach us and not punish us.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Do not procrastinate the term projects or assignments. And make sure you actually study the material. I know that isn't normal, but you should make a habit of it.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This is a great course to prepare you for a college level calculus class. The teacher goes into how to do the algebra in a way that students can easily understand, and relates the material to real life, situations that the students can have a personal connection to.

    Course highlights:

I gained the ability to comprehend the algebra necessary for future calculus courses. I also gained the thought processes required to find my own way around complex problems, and think through creative solutions to advanced problems.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

keep your notes from the beginning of the year, and take very detailed notes during lectures, the teacher will give you all the information you will need for the test, so make sure you write it all down so you aren't caught off guard for the final.
