    | Would recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because it really boosts writing and interpretation of literature skills. Before taking this course, my writing was on par, but this class brought my writing skills to the next level, and that is something that has been useful ever since.

    Course highlights:

This course focused heavily on literature and poetry of all types, mainly not modern. We learned how to fully analyze literature using educational vocabulary and write about it.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

If you take this course there will be a ton of vocab that will be necessary to know. I recommend that you study this vocab thoroughly, and use it in essays to sound more educational.

    | Would highly recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would highly recommend this course! It prepared me for the ACT + writing and now I have college credits! If you like English or are good at it, then this would be a great class to take!

    Course highlights:

read Great Gatsby, The Scarlet Letter and actually watched a bunch of movies

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

You definitely need to do the homework and at the very least sparknotes or skim the material (its mostly gone over in class)
