    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would extremely recommend this class because it is highly educational and very fun. Not only that, but it challenges students.

    Course highlights:

We reviewed from the early exploration of the Americas, analyzing documents and viewing different viewpoints, to Bush's presidency.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Always try to stay ahead in the class and read the textbook because it gives useful information. Also, do not be afraid to ask questions. Put in all your effort!

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Overall, this class is challenging, fun, and informative. I learned much more than I would have ever anticipated, and the class is very much worth one's time.

    Course highlights:

Although this class had a large number of lectures and presentations, Ms. Pearson did a wonderful job of nurturing the class' ideas, opening class discussions, keeping the class entertaining, and preparing us for the AP Exam. I learned a great deal about the years I was considerably hazy on: the majority of the twentieth century. I highly recommend this class, as it opens one's mind and informs all who take it about the country we live in.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

This class only reciprocates what is put into is, as most classes do. A want to learn, an open mind, and a strong work ethic are necessary to pass. Studying helps a great deal when it is needed, and the notes one takes should be concise and beneficial.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I loved this course! Not only did it prepare me to receive a 5 on my AP EXAM, but it gave me oratorical skills. We held debates for different centuries, and even one that had both Hilary Clinton and President Grant! It was fun. There were also interactive activities that moved students around the room. We learned about every part of the exam (besides some of the present).

    Course highlights:

Highlights: debates, discussions, knowledge, and notes. I learned about different people in United States history. It was fun to interact and play a character. Some of the lectures were long, but all the information was contained in the textbook (American Pageant).

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

You should probably read the textbooks or some online outlines. Other than that, pay attention in class and you should be fine!
