Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

AP Government is a class that many college-bound students consider and subsequently take after a bit of prodding and poking from friends. At Dinwiddie, the course is far less demanding than what one would expect, with a number of safety cushions for those who fear for their GPA. In return, the class discussions and activities that Mr.Mccoul has his students do really make a lasting imprint on everyone. There is a lot of information that he gives you, and all of this further prepares students for both the AP exam and post-secondary schooling.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course would be the coverage over the presidential campaign of 2016. He gives so much insight over even the most minuscule things that one would think wouldn't make any sort of lasting impact. He elaborates and simplifies the more complex things into simple, coherent sentences. If it isn't an election year, then the Supreme Court unit takes the cake. It, by far, has the most relevance to the daily life of an American citizen. It was baffling just how much thought and interpretation goes into the Ten Amendments, even if that seems like common sense at first glance.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

The outlines of each chapter that he assigns are a must. The outlines are an absolute must. The outlines make the quizzes a breeze. The outlines boost and curve the grades of any test. The outlines give you the information needed to not fail on the test. The outlines are preparation for anything in the class. If there is anything someone should take from this, it is that s/he needs to complete the outlines.
