Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Although this course can sometimes be frustrating, I would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to learn beyond just reading books during English class. We do many things that aren't normally focused on in your average IB English classroom, such as analyzing films and using our IB English terminology while doing so. IB English Lang/Lit is definitely an eyeopening course, and a great opportunity to go above and beyond in English.

    Course highlights:

Even though this course hasn't ended yet, I have gained a deeper knowledge on public figures I grew up learning about such as JFK in a different light outside of my History class. Also, I learned more about specific eras in history such as the 1920s, and how they also correlate to the books we read in IB English.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

The most important piece of advice I can give anyone that is interested in taking this course is to be open minded. Being open minded will make this course more enjoyable than it already is, and will allow a student to expand their knowledge and think outside of the box.
