    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

AP Biology is a course offered at my school, and I highly recommend it for anyone looking to explore the depths and complexities behind basic biology. Through this course, you are opened to wide, vast, new doors of biology. You learn and apply (through labs) biological concepts such as genetics, cellular processes (Photosynthesis, Cellular Respiration, Transpiration, etc.) as well as ecology and evolution.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course included the various labs we conducted. For example, using the genetic engineering method of transformation, my class lab group and I were able to make bacteria "glow" by making their plasmids pick up the DNA that expresses a GFP, a green florescent protein. You can do these types of experiments weekly with AP Biology!

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

For anyone considering this course, I would suggest them to have a schedule on study dates. Also, it is helpful to have a planner or calendar to decide which days you should read the units' chapters.
