    | Would recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because the things you learn in the curriculum can be applied to a variety of things and helps you gain a more in depth knowledge of many topics from politics to the different backgrounds and cultures around us.

    Course highlights:

The course gives the history of the relationships, the rises and declines, and achievements of different civilizations and states, which helps students gain a better understanding of different cultures worldwide, current relationships between countries, and why the world is as it is right now.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

The readings are essential to doing well in the class, and rather than focusing on memorization of dates and people (which is important of course), knowing and understanding the broad concepts and ideas prepares you more thoroughly for the theme based tests and essays.
