Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

In Statistics, anyone can work to get an A! But like all classes, you have to put in the effort. The course-load is very manageable and the content is of only moderate difficulty for an AP class. Ms. Musick is a very organized and thorough teacher so you will be very experienced in the content for the AP Exam. The curriculum is fast paced and you must take notes and pay attention to every lesson. However, just put in the work and anyone can thrive in this class!

    Course highlights:

I learned to look at statistics in the real world with a closer and more knowledgeable eye. I learned about the many biases articles may have when producing statistics. All the problems in this course are so relevant and teach useful concepts. Best of all, the way the class is structured allowed me to retain the information for a long period of time. Specifically, I learned to design valid experiments and observational studies , determine statistical significance with the data presented, and to determine correlation between two variables. Bonus: the was Ms. Musick teaches often involves candy labs, and after class snacks!

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Stay organized in terms of keeping you binders and notebooks clean. Do not fall behind because she keeps assigning more work everyday. Ask questions if you're confused. Pay attention to every part of her lessons because you'll need all of it for the tests!
