    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

AP Physics C is challenging because you must approach it with a new and open mind in order to understand the thinking process. Overall, it is very interesting and the problem solving techniques are applicable in other areas of life.

    Course highlights:

This course focuses on basic calculus based physics. You will learn everything from how a car uses the road to turn and accelerate to how a pendulum works. The main point of the course is to develop problem solving skills and strategies.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

If you're motivated, go for it! It's certainly challenging but not impossible. Even if you're not a STEM person, if you get a good exam grade (which isn't too hard if you do what the teacher says) you can test out and have more electives in college.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

    Easy-to-learn material and friendly environment

    Course highlights:

I gained an understanding of how the world around me functions. I loved learning about forces and projectile motion and circular motion because, for once, it was something I understood without needing a secondary explanation.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

If you don't understand something, don't be afraid to ask a question.

    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The resources are very helpful. If you don't have a computer at home, that is no problem. The school has a library, a computer lab, and just computers down in the main lobby.

    Course highlights:

The one thing a student can not complain about is the hours of the available resources, because they are very realistic. Open before school, and after school. Additional to those resources are the opportunities of being able to get one on one tutoring. The school also offers counseling for outside of school issues, or advising/career counseling. One of the best things that I love about this school is the movie room.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

I've experienced many individuals who do not attend the school come in with students of the school, and the fact that they have some kind of entertainment to occupy their time waiting is very thoughtful.
