Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This class has taught me a lot about American history. The expansive lessons and elaboration of previously taught principles are beneficial. In addition, the class prepares you for future AP history classes, giving you a taste of AP questions, DBQs and more!

    Course highlights:

From this course I learned how to analyze information hidden in the text. In this way, I am able to effectively zone in on what it is I am asked to do and accomplish in the shortest amount of time possible. With this skill I can finish questions aptly and quickly, saving time for short answer questions and essay prompts.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

When given a study guide or a reading from a textbook, do not overestimate your understanding of the content. Initially, It is easy to believe you can trust your prior knowledge of the material but do not be deceived. The books and study are often very thorough, in comparison tot he comprehensive nature of the AP test. But the more information you retain, the easier the test will become. Therefore, always, ALWAYS, do the reading.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

With Mr. Meyer, you can see how much passion he has for teaching and for history. As long as you focus and take good notes, the test questions will come easy. Cause you will have passion for history too.

    Course highlights:

Honestly, the highlight was just being in the class, learning but still having fun. Meyer talked me a lot about history, life, and how to be a good student with a positive attitude.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

When Meyer lectures, make sure you take notes. But don't be so descriptive because as a student, you need to listen. You can see the lectures online, but you can't hear his input again.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Lots of knowledge to be gained from the best teacher you'll ever have.

    Course highlights:

I loved learning about post-antebellum era history and the modern political implications of such history.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Don't give up. There's a lot of work, but it's all necessary work.
