Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would definitely recommend this course because it has helped me to learn so much more in depth about out government. I had taken AP U.S History and known many general things about our country, but this course has given me so much more knowledge.

    Course highlights:

This course has helped me to learn about politics in our country, which has been particularly interesting because of the recent election. I have learned more about political parties, their views, and which ones I relate to the most.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Do all of the homework readings, because this will help you to keep up in class when having discussions. Be prepared to do a lot of work in class and to not have much down time, if any. Make sure to study for the tests, especially the short answer questions.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I recommend this course/teacher because I walked out of this class knowing more than I thought I would. Brusato is awesome in a tough love kind of way. In this class, there is a lot of hands on learning, which is helpful with the notes that have to be taken.

    Course highlights:

The number one thing that stuck with me most is how a bill becomes a law. I could explain how a bill becomes a law easily thanks to Brusato jamming that lesson into all of our heads. Brusato is tough on people who come in late, and skip class, but he only wants you to succeed.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Be on time and don't skip this class. Also, if you don't know your roman numerals, watch the super bowl. (; (Brusato inside joke. )

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course taught me a lot about politics that I didn't know. It taught me how the country works a little bit better. I've had history classes, but I've never truly learned about politics in our country.

    Course highlights:

I learned about the electoral college, how voting works, what the president can and can't do.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you read the chapters you are told to read. Many things were taught in the book. We took a lot of notes, but many things on our tests were from the book, not from our notes.
