    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

IB HOA was a challenging course for me that allowed me to push myself to gain new levels of knowledge that I would have otherwise thought unachievable. I would strongly recommend the class to anyone interested in exploring new ways to think.

    Course highlights:

After taking IB HOA, I had an entirely new outlook on learning and how to be a better learner, writer, and overall student. Not only were we taught about history, we were taught how to interpret others feelings and actions. This course helped develop my character and skills as a students and i would strongly recommend taking it.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

A major piece of advice I would give to students planning to take this course is to not underestimate yourself. This is something that my teacher tried to instill in all of us from day one. If students know what they are capable of, no level of knowledge is out of reach.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

If you think law, government or politics might not be your thing, here's your chance. Mr. Salvato teaches this course with passion and actually makes it fun! And don't hold your breath because he doesn't reveal his party leaning at all until very last day of school!

    Course highlights:

This course showed me that I really have an interest in politics and government. Really just further showed me my path to law school is the right choice!

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Be ready for some lively class discussions and open your parachute???? Hint, your mind is like a parachute... it works best when open!
