    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This class will teach you a ton. Whether you start as a poor, developing, or skilled writer, Ms. Cook always has suggestions and critiques that will help you grow as a writer and student.

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot about analyzing nonfiction and was surprised to find that historical knowledge is really useful when analyzing. We were also taught terms and strategies for analyzing, such as different literary devices and how to recognize them. This class did an amazing job preparing us for the AP exam and taught us how to interpret and answer prompts for any scenario.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Don't procrastinate the big projects, because there's only a few and each of them is a big part of the grade. Choose groups wisely. Do the reading - it's not much or often, but you should be committed to the class and doing the homework when it's assigned.
