    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I learned that I had a passion for biology in this course and that it was something I wanted to pursue. Mr. Foley is an excellent teacher that wants his students to succeed. It is important to note that while there are lectures, there is a significant amount of independent studying required to get a good grade in the class because there is so much content covered in a lot of depth, in not a lot of time.

    Course highlights:

Feeling a sense of accomplishment when I did well on the tests as well as on the AP exam were definitely some highlights of this class. I learned that I want to major in biology, but in terms of content I learned all about the molecular level of DNA replication, cellular respiration, other cellular processes, as well as broader topic like ecology and species classification.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Keep up on your reading in order to do well, or you will fall behind and never catch back up.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

AP Chemistry was awesome. This is the reason why I decided to study chemistry in college.

    Course highlights:

I learned more advanced stoichiometry, reactions, acids/bases, electro chem, and even a little organic chem.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

If you don't get something, work at it and get help.
