Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend it because it has taught me a lot about life. It definitely isn't strictly a finance class. It gives you a lot more than that. At least that's what my teacher did for me.

    Course highlights:

I gained a lot of knowledge about life and how to get through certain parts of my life. It taught me the importance of life insurance and a retirement plan.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

You should be ready for a lot of homework towards the end of the course. You should also keep an open mind when going into this class.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This is one of the only classes in all of my high school experience that has actually taught me useful information for the real world. I have learned in this course about taxes, college, finances, saving plans, motivation methods, etc. Throughout this class, you play a game of Life where you pretend to already be an adult. You have a bank account, spouse, job, an income, taxes, expenses, etc. This class is really helpful in educating and preparing students for life after graduation.

    Course highlights:

My favorite activity from taking this course was that I had the opportunity to participate in Sub-4-Santa. We were able to give around 30 families a Christmas. I learned from this the lesson that you will always receive more when you give to others.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

In order to succeed, get married to someone in your class who is responsible and hard working. Your grade is equally dependent on both of you.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It's a real-life class. It's all about things you actually need to learn in life, not just random, useless facts.

    Course highlights:

I learned in-depth how to manage money. I learned about mortgages, savings accounts, and much more.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Stay on top of how much money you're making, and learn to roll with all of Jensen's up-and-downs and surprise payments.
