Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course taught me how to analyze difficult text and has helped me with further college reading assignments.

    Course highlights:

I really enjoyed the student lead discussions in this class. We had the opportunity to share our opinions and not worry about judgement from our teacher or other classmates. The class was very welcoming and it was a comfortable learning environment.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

This course requires a lot of at home reading. You must complete the reading to discuss so be prepared to spend about an hour to an hour a half each night reading. Although the course load is quite large it is definitely a course worth taking.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

She is such a great teacher and really tries to connect with her students.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to use correct grammar and how to use tone to connect with your reader

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Don't get behind! It's hard to catch up with the rest of the class, if your all caught up the class is a breeze.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

It's certainly a rigorous class, especially considering I studied for it mainly on my own while I took AP Literature and Composition. But, having the knowledge from the higher and more rigorous AP Lit class in conjunction with studying for the AP Lang test on my own, I scored a 5.

    Course highlights:

I gained a lot of experience‚Äč on identifying what language markers indicate what the speaker is trying to push you to believe. It's easy with propaganda, but more often than not many pundits are doing the same things.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Actually taking the class and not just skipping it for a higher, albeit very similar, course would definitely lower your stress levels on testing day.
