Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Mr. Winden is a dedicated teacher who will move a mountain to help you understand the material. He understands that students learn in different ways and he incorporates many different teaching styles in his classroom. You will learn extensively about the inner workings of government, and will leave the classroom a more informed citizen.

    Course highlights:

This class was very diverse, While sometimes we would learn through the book, or take notes, other times we would work on projects. We would learn about a controversial topic and have a debate. At the end of the year we ran for office and elected students into positions. We even drafted our own class constitution.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

This course is not difficult, but it is very fast paced. Make sure you are keeping up with the readings so you know what is going on in class and participate in the activities. They may seem silly, but every activity is designed to teach you something.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

If you have the chance to go to Harborside, the 11th grade history class is great! The teacher is kind kf goofy, but he's really dedicated to providing knowledge and information for his students. It's a very nice class, and I've learned a lot so far.

    Course highlights:

So far, I've learned a lot about the political side of the food system, and how government really effects it all. It's a really unique take on the class and I love it.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Do not text or sleep in his class. Phones away, eyes open and mouths shut. He's a really mellow fellow until you start being disrespectful, because he wants to teach you and he cant do it if you are disrupting the class.
