Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because it helped me personally understand the government processes, such as how laws are made, how a president becomes a president, and many other important things that go on throughout our government. I think it is important for everyone to learn about their government.

    Course highlights:

Highlights of this course were being able to go deeper into the meanings of government, what it is all about, and how it works. I learned the processes it takes to become a government professional and how laws are passed through government.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

In order to succeed in this class, you need to focus and study hard in order to get the complete understanding of the governmental process.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

While the class can be very challenging the skills that you learn will help you because there are many study skills that can be used for many other classes, even non Social Studies classes.

The highlight of the course was learning about the Civil War. Mr.Bestor did a great job of explaining what the north and the south had for advantages and disadvantages and he made it very interactive for all of the students.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Read the book. While he has great lectures reading makes the class so much easier.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I would completely recommend this course to anyone, especially those who haven't taken an AP course before. Not only are you immersed into social studies, but the course connects you with other subjects, such as sociology, psychology, mathematics, history, english, and science. It is paced in a way for students to acclimate to the intensity of a college course while still being heavily involved and rigorous.

    Course highlights:

I loved learning about why cities are structured the way they are in the United States compared to other countries. I also enjoyed learning about how the age populations of countries in differing economic and social standings differ.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Do all of the reading and analyze the graphs. Don't only absorb the information, but put it into applicable context.
