    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend taking this course after completing Bio 171 and at the same time as Bio 172. There is a significant amount of Molecular Biology in the course and you will find yourself forced to self-teach a good deal of information if you don't have experience with molecular biology.

    Course highlights:

I learned a great deal about lab protocol. Being homeschooled through high school I had never truly had lab experience.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Be prepared and study hard. Never forget the pre-lab assignments.

    | Would recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

The lab is 3 hours long and has minimal course work associated with it, but do not underestimate this class. There are only a limited number of points to be graded on and they are anything, but a walk in the park.

    Course highlights:

You get to swab your butt and rub it on a petri-dish to learn about the amount of e. coli on the skins surface there, but you find out that most people do not have dangerous e. coli living there.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Take your time on the assignments and make sure you have a correct and detailed answer for everyone question.
