    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Personally hated the class because it makes me feel dumb. But more power to future students who take the class!

    Course highlights:

I have no highlights to talk about other than the time I took an exam, literally studied for weeks, utilized every resource here at the university and still failed!

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Have a photographic memory, no outside life or personal time, no job, just chemistry and nothing else.

    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Recommended for anyone who wants to go into health sciences. It gives you a really nice overview of the topics that you will get into deeper study with down your educational career.

    Course highlights:

From this course, I gained a basic understanding of the fundaments of the chemistry field; the history behind it, modern discoveries, and how it applies to different professions.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

If you are considering this course, you have to be ready to study a lot and get used to constantly preparing for the class. If you do not, you will not successfully complete the course. It will take a lot of effort, but it is worth it.

    | Would recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Overall this class was enjoyable. The tests are only 25-30 questions of multiple choice, which may seem easy but getting only a few questions wrong can take a toll on the overall grade. Plus the class is not curved. However, my professor was very kind and would gladly help anyone, so I got lucky by having a great professor.

    Course highlights:

This course was really helpful in learning about molecules and their structures and how they interact, which will definitely be helpful in the future. Also, I can name numerous molecules with ease, which seems pretty cool but maybe I am just a nerd.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

You should come in with a basic understanding of chemistry, because it will be really helpful to be knowledgeable about most of the topics and basically just need a refresher. Reading before the lecture will also help.
