    Course Overview:

    It basically covers the introduction to programming and gets you use to the systems and syntax of coding.

    Course highlights:

    I had learned how to manipulate 3d graphs, HSV and RGB data.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

    Engineers, be ready to think a lot! That's what you're going to do. And always go for Office Hours

    Course Overview:

    This course expanded my understanding of the computer world by introducing me to computer programming. I never thought I would be interested in this type of course. Engineering 101 did a great job in sparking my interest for programming.

    Course highlights:

    The highlight was problem solving. Each project had a different type of roadblock that I needed to figure out. This problem solving approach was crucial and learning it will become useful in the future.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

    Start projects as early as possible. Office hours fill up very quick and when the due date is near, it is impossible to get your question asked. Start early and ask questions early.

    This course made me realize I wanted to major in Computer Science

    Course highlights:

    Basics of C++ computer coding, Matlab.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

    Go to lab. The GSI's are really great. Go to office hours early if you get stuck. Don't wait till the last minute for help.
