    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend if you like chemistry, or if you need it for your degree. Not a particularly fun class just to take. It is a lot of work, so keep that in mind

    Course highlights:

I really like the information that we learned, it really gave me a foundation in chemistry

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

focus on the math, not the reading

    | Would highly recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Dr. Nolta is a expert in Chemistry. She is dedicated to making sure her students understand the subject and will not stop teaching until you are a master in the subject. She offers after hours and often leads study sessions after class.

    Course highlights:

I learned to think about organic chemistry in a 3d sense. I learned a lot about carbon and how carbon reacts in equations.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

You need to own the book and be prepared to dedicate hours to study. Do not be discouraged by a bad test grade as long as you understand it by the end of the class Dr. Nolta will give you are good grade. I took this class pass or fail because I failed my first exam and ended up with a B+. Go to all extra study sessions for more help and join a study group at the SLC.
