Not too easy. Not too difficult.
I would highly recommend this course. The course material was interesting ,in-class discussions were fruitful, and the professor genuinely cares for her students.
This course was about music and religion in Black communities throughout time across the diaspora. We covered everything from Baptist churches/music to cult-like institutions to the historical origins of rastafari. It was a wonderful journey.

Advice for students:
Go to the professor's office hours. She's always willing to help you comb through some of the more dense material to help you gain a better understanding. Be prepared to do a lot of reading. There is no way to make it through this course successfully without doing the readings.
