It is a very interesting class, you learn about the history of popular music, and listen to a lot of contemporary and older popular music. It is a very interesting class.

    Course highlights:

I learned more about the British Invasion and other historical musical concepts. I learn how to analyze music in terms of timbre, etc.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

I would advise them to attend lecture, and to sometimes read the book. I would also recommend that they really learn the songs on the exams.
