Not too easy. Not too difficult.
I've heard from many students that this is one of the best classes at UM, and I would absolutely agree. If you are even slightly into Anthropology or the medical field, this class is awesome. Peters-Golden has a contagious passion and class is never boring because she presents almost all of her teachings as stories.
This class should be a requirement for anyone going into the medical field. It teaches you to look at the world in a new light and always consider the perspective of the other, which is something the world in general could use more of as well.

Advice for students:
DEFINITELY be sure you have a solid GSI, because how they grade your papers and even your exam varies quite a bit. There were quite a few non-anthro students in my class who seemed to forget that it is an anthro course, and anthro courses tend to have very subjective grading in general simply due to the amount of writing that is required.
