This class was tough.
I would recommend it if you have to take Sociology 101. I got an A- because I got sick for three weeks, so I fell severely behind in the course. On Study Blue, you can find past review guides and study off them to get an A+ on the exams. They really helped me a lot. For example, I only studied for 3 hours for Sociology on the third exam and got a 95% on the final exam. (Trust me friends) On the other side, I studies 20 hours for the second exam and did very poorly. I got a 97.5%, 86%, and 95% on the exams. My main disappointment is that it is highly subjective.
I learned that your circumstance has some effect on your success. You learn about the classic sociologists such as Karl Marx and Emile Durkheim. It is very liberal. You learn about angry feminist who blame every problem in the world on males. 5 one page paper writings on a spectrum of topics in sociology.

Advice for students:
Go to every class. I missed a large amount of class as a result of being sick, but I was lucky to have a partner to give me his notes. Lecture slides and reading must be thoroughly gone through. The slides are the most valuable portion of the class. Go to office hours BEFORE you turn in your papers! The writing is highly subjective.
