Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It's a great course that teaches you the basics of communication and skills that you'll definitely need to know for higher-level communications courses. Plus, the Professor Kwak is fantastic!

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course for me was learning that there's more than our traditional "if this..then that" hypothesis. There are other factors like mediators and moderators that affect the relationship of things and sometimes some relationships might not even be entirely true! For a relationship to hold true, three components have to be achieved–but that's for you to find out!

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Go to class! His powerpoint slides may be up on Canvas, but he has empty blank spaces that only you can fill out if you go to class. Plus hearing it from him is much more helpful.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

This was a very interesting course. You learn all about how media affects humans and our societies. Make sure you get a good GSI.

    Course highlights:

The most interesting part was learning about how different types of media (books, tv, newspaper etc) has affected us in different ways.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Fill in the powerpoint blanks during lecture. Those blanks are usually the important info covered on exams.
